Yes... these are always the first of the most fragrant of blooms for most people come spring.
I love walking around the yard and all I can smell is the delicate fragrance of these little lacy wonders. And I have 5 different ones so yes... I get a lot to cut and bring in. Although, as you know these don't last long once they are cut (I've tried every method to preserve them just a bit longer and still haven't found the right cocktail). :-( But, I have plenty to keep the house smelling wonderful for weeks.
I love finding the little twists and turns of each petal and they seem to have their own little personalities as some are quite structured and others tend to wander in the magnificent clustered blooms. I know it's a flower and many are thinking how do they have a personality. Well, just like a snow flake no two are the same. At least that it my story and I am sticking to it. :-)
Hope you enjoy these little wonders...
Happy day to you all!!!!!
