I walk through my gardens every day. Waiting and watching for changes. This year I had a new addition to my garden, a Lace Top Hydrangea. It does not yield billows of blooms, it only blooms on the sides and year the top just looks like lace.
I don't know all the technical names of the flowers I have, I hate to admit. But I am hoping to get better at that. I have a total of three Hydrangea's this year. The bright pink, hadn't bloomed in 3 years and finally it yielded one (yes ONE) bloom but I was more than happy to have just that one even if it was at the base of the plant and I had to lay on the ground flat just to capture it's beauty.
Well, I hope you enjoyed today's little walk (so to speak) through the gardens in search of the Hydrangea's. I truly love them and will be waiting in great anticipation for their return in the Spring.
Keep watching because I love them in the fall and winter also as they are constantly changing and their beauty remains.
